Son Na-eun has announced her decision to leave A Pink after spending more than a decade with the girl group. Her departure, which leaves A Pink a quintet, comes just ahead of the group's 11th anniversary next week.
"I'm leaving A Pink, with whom I have been for the past 11 years," Son said in a handwritten message on Instagram last Friday.
She also thanked her bandmates and fans, saying, "I want to sincerely thank everyone who made my teens and 20s so radiant," adding that "those years were the happiest moments of my life and will remain as good memories."
Son's departure was anticipated, as she has actively pursued a career as an actress and engaged in other activities, and was the only member not to renew her contract with the group's management agency last year.
